Applications for the ASA Nuclear Graduate Program are now open — an exciting opportunity to contribute to a program of national and international significance.
The application process for the Australian Submarine Agency (ASA) Nuclear Graduate Program matches potential graduates with the best suited pathway role, as they begin their career in the ASA.
It is important that applicants read the eligibility requirements and application process before submitting an application.
Key dates 2026
Applicants may apply prior to graduation but in order to secure their place must obtain a minimum of a credit average of the course of their degree, and have successfully completed their degree.

- 2 March – Applications open
- 13 April – Applications close
- May – Online assessments including psychometric testing
- June-July – Virtual assessment centres including behavioural based interview and situational exercise
- August – Verbal offers and security clearances
- September-November – Pre-onboarding preparation and relocation
- February 2027 – Nuclear Graduate Program commences
